Believe in Better Health: How Ted Lasso Inspired Adjust Clinics

If you’ve ever walked into Adjust NRV and thought, “This place feels a little different,” you’re absolutely right.

And while we can’t claim to have a Premier League football club hidden behind our office, we can admit that one of the most beloved TV shows in recent memory had a meaningful influence on the culture we’re building every day.

Yep—we’re talking about Ted Lasso.

When Ted Lasso debuted, Adjust NRV was still taking shape. As we developed our vision for what we wanted our practice to become, we found ourselves drawn to many of the same values that made millions of people fall in love with Coach Lasso and AFC Richmond.

Now, before you assume this is all about funny one-liners, biscuits, and mustaches (although those are pretty great), it’s actually much deeper than that.

We Believe

Let’s start with the obvious.

If you’ve been to Adjust NRV, you’ve probably noticed our “Believe” sign hanging on the wall.

Just like Ted’s iconic yellow BELIEVE sign reminded his team to trust the process and each other, our sign reminds us of something bigger.

Right alongside it is our Just Cause:

To create a world in which the vast majority of us wake up feeling inspired for better health.

That’s more than a mission statement hanging on a wall. It’s the reason we show up every day.

It’s also why you’ll often see us using the hashtag #InspiredForBetterHealth on social media.

Ted believed in his players before they believed in themselves.

At Adjust NRV, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience better health, greater vitality, and a better quality of life—even if they haven’t quite seen that possibility for themselves yet.

“All People Are Different People”

One of our favorite Ted Lasso quotes hangs in our exam room:

“All people are different people.”

Simple.

Funny.

And surprisingly profound.

This quote perfectly captures how we approach patient care.

No two people are exactly alike. No two health journeys are exactly alike.

Whether you’re visiting us for the first time or you’ve been part of our practice family for years, we want you to know that you’re not just another appointment on the schedule.

We want you to feel heard.

We want you to feel cared for.

We want you to know that your goals, challenges, and health story matter.

Because all people really are different people.

And every patient deserves care that reflects that.

More Than a Team Uniform

Another thing Ted Lasso taught us?

Great teams don’t happen by accident.

You may have noticed that our team shows up in a similar “kit” every day—black polos, khaki pants, and Hey Dudes.

Sure, it creates a professional look, but it’s also a reminder that we’re all working toward the same goal.

Just like AFC Richmond, we’re a team.

We support one another.

We encourage one another.

And we understand that when we work together, we can serve our community better than any one person could alone.

No, we don’t have a locker room speech before every shift.

(Although now that we think about it…)

But we do share a commitment to inspiring people to live healthier, fuller lives.

Creating a Place Where Everyone Belongs

One of the reasons people love Ted Lasso isn’t because it’s a show about soccer.

It’s because it’s a show about people.

It’s about kindness.

Belonging.

Growth.

Encouragement.

Second chances.

At Adjust NRV, we hope you feel some of that same energy when you walk through our doors.

We want our office to be a place where everyone feels welcome.

A place where people are encouraged instead of judged.

A place where positivity is contagious.

A place where you can take steps toward becoming the healthiest version of yourself.

Winning Looks Different Here

One of Ted’s greatest lessons is that success isn’t always measured by the scoreboard.

Of course, we want people to reach their health goals.

But what excites us most is seeing people become better versions of themselves.

Maybe that means having more energy to play with your kids.

Maybe it means getting back to a hobby you love.

Maybe it means sleeping better, moving better, or simply feeling more like yourself again.

Those are the wins we celebrate.

Every single day.

The Best Is Yet to Come

At its heart, Ted Lasso is a show about hope.

Hope that people can grow.

Hope that things can improve.

Hope that we’re capable of more than we think.

That’s a message we can get behind.

So while you’ll find a few Ted Lasso-inspired touches around our office, what really inspired us wasn’t a sign, a quote, or even a TV show.

It was the idea that people thrive when they’re encouraged, supported, and inspired.

And that’s exactly what we’re trying to create at Adjust NRV.

Because just like Ted believed in AFC Richmond…

We believe in you.

And we’re ready for you to feel #InspiredForBetterHealth and live your best one.
