Supporting Student Athletes Through NIL: A Local Business Perspective

Our Commitment to the Blacksburg Community

At Adjust NRV, we take great pride in being part of the Blacksburg community. As a small business with a team of five, we are always looking for ways to give back and make a meaningful impact. Between the vibrant town of Blacksburg and the presence of Virginia Tech, there are endless opportunities to support the people who make this area so special.

NIL Partnerships Create New Opportunities

One exciting way we’ve been able to do that is through NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) partnerships. In recent years, NIL changes have opened new doors for student athletes to connect with businesses like ours. For Adjust NRV, this means we can not only support Hokie athletes but also highlight how chiropractic care helps people—athletes and non-athletes alike—live their best lives.

Celebrating Our Sponsored Athletes

This year, we are proud to sponsor local football standout Carter Stallard of Christiansburg, VA, now a freshman on the Hokies football team. In addition, we’ve partnered with Emily Matthews of Mebane, NC, a junior on the Virginia Tech Women’s Golf Team, and Ashton Harper of Botetourt, VA, a junior on the Men’s Golf Team. These student athletes balance academics, practice, and competition at the highest level throughout the year. Their commitment to excellence is inspiring, and we’re honored to be part of their journey.

Honoring a Hokie Legend: Liz Kitley

We were also fortunate to team up with Liz Kitley, a standout on the Virginia Tech Women’s Basketball Team, during her playing career. Partnering with Liz through an NIL agreement was a special opportunity—not only because of her incredible accomplishments on the court, but also because she represents the drive, discipline, and character we admire in student athletes. Supporting Liz allowed us to connect with Hokie Nation in a meaningful way and further showcase how chiropractic care can support performance and recovery at every level.

Building a Healthier, Stronger Community

At Adjust NRV, our mission is simple: to help people perform and feel their best. Whether it’s supporting the health of our patients in the clinic or encouraging the dedication of Virginia Tech student athletes, we believe in building a healthier, stronger community.
